The PS5 GARDEN CLUB is an afterschool program for 5th to 8th graders.

It is every THURSDAY (3 - 4 PM) starting THURSDAY OCT. 10.

Please note:

No garden club on 10/24/ 10/31, 12/12 and during January and February. We will announce the dates for the Spring session in March.

The club will take place at the P.S.5 Garden, the entrance is on 3rd St, next to the Korean Memorial.

This program is free to the students.

Parent volunteers will run the club. We will plant a vegetable and flower garden, study the New Jersey native plants, create a botany journal, and take care of the compost.

The Jersey City PS5 PTA is a non-for-profit local affiliate of the National PTA. 
Every donation we receive goes toward providing better and more services to our school so we can see all the children at PS5 reach their potential and beyond.
